Try the local dishes and produce. Each prefecture has its own famous and delicious food. Eat fresh sushi and sashimi at kaitenzushi, conveyor belt sushi restaurants and give the street food a taste at asaichi, morning markets.

From the techno paradise that is Tokyo, to the picturesque mountains that hold serene valleys with lush rice paddies and tea fields, Japan has it all! Check out the cherry blossoms, and lots of other flower festivals throughout the warmer months. In the winter, take part in yuki masturi, snow festivals.
